HNB Online Banking
HNB Online Banking offers the ability for you to securely view and manage your HNB personal or business accounts from anywhere at any time.
- Account Information: View balances on your deposit and loan accounts
- Bill Pay: Pay Bills, people, send gifts or charitable contributions and receive eBills
- View Check Images: Maintain images of checks for your record and account review

HNB Mobile Banking
Available to all personal and business HNB Online Banking users, HNB Mobile Banking offers secure access and money management tools through an app for your smartphone and other mobile devices.
- My Accounts: View balances on your deposit and loan accounts
- Mobile Deposit: Deposit checks by enrolling in Remote / Mobile Deposit
- P2P: Pay friends, family or others with Person-to-Person Payments
- Bill Pay: Pay bills, people or send monetary or charitable gifts
- View Check Images: See check images when reviewing transactions
- Review Transactions: Reconcile your account by monitoring your purchases and activity
- Statements: Access eStatements and Notices from anywhere at any time
- Transfer Funds: Transfer funds between your HNB accounts and accounts at other financial institutions
- Alerts: Review personalized alerts for items such as low balances, ACH credits/debits, bill payments and more
- Manage your HNB Debit and ATM Cards: Within Preferences > Manage Cards, you can personalize the way you use and protect your card. Including:
- Turn your card on or off
- Set transaction spending limits based on your preferences, including dollar amount, transaction type and merchant type
- Get instant alerts on certain types of transactions, like when a transaction is declined
- Set a specific region where the card can be used or restrict usage based on your mobile device’s location
- Set parental controls and monitoring
- Location Finder: Find an HNB Office location
To access the app, simply use your HNB Online Banking User ID and password.
Bill Pay
Eliminate your need for stamps and process your payments faster with Bill Pay available through HNB Online and Mobile Banking. Not only can you save on postage, but you can take advantage of:
- Simplification: View and manage your payees and payments
- Payment Account Options: Issue payments from multiple accounts
- eBills: Receive electronic copies of your bills directly within HNB Bill Pay to help you review and schedule payments
- Pay a Person: Make person-to-person payments electronically
- Send a Gift: Send donations or personalized monetary gifts to one of your contacts
- Alerts and Reminders – set up helpful text alerts and payment reminder to keep you on track
- Calendar: Quickly review when activity has occurred or is scheduled to occur within HNB Bill Pay
- Record Keeping: Store payment history for 18 months
Voice Command Bill Pay
HNB Bill Pay offers the convenience of paying and managing your bills using voice command through AmazonTM devices with AlexaTM*.
iPay QuickPaySM is a voice service that allows you to schedule payments, inquire about recent scheduled payments, review your payment history and more. This convenient service is linked securely through HNB Bill Pay and does not require the provision of your account information to use.
Start Using Voice Bill Pay with iPay QuickPaySM
- You must be enrolled in HNB Bill Pay. Enroll now or login to HNB Online Banking.
- Navigate to the Bill Pay tab
- Select “My Account” from the menu options
- Select “Add Alexa”
- Answer the challenge prompt and click “Submit”
- Create an account with the requested information, then click “Submit”
- In your Alexa App, use the search feature to select the iPay QuickPaySM skill and enable it.
- Follow the on-screen instructions and use the credentials you created in the “My Account” page to link the skill to HNB Bill Pay, including a 4-digit PIN you will use for use of iPay QuickPaySM
- Accept Terms and Conditions
- To get started, just say “Alexa, start iPay QuickPaySM”
Sample Commands:
- Launch HNB Bill Pay by saying, “Alexa, launch iPay Quick Pay.”
- To cancel the login process, say, “cancel.”
- To access payee list, try saying, “list my payees.” (payee names are read back in multiples of 3)
- To schedule a payment, try saying, “schedule a payment for (payee name)
- To access payment history, try saying, “what are my last five payments?”
- To logout, try saying, “logout”
To edit existing credentials or change your Alexa PIN:
- Within the “My Accounts” menu of HNB Bill Pay, select your desired action under Voice Bill Pay
- Answer your challenge question
- Complete your desired action
Mobile Deposit
Mobile Deposit, also referred to as Remote Deposit, allows you to deposit checks to your personal or business accounts through HNB Mobile Banking – from anywhere. You may enroll in this convenient service by selecting the “Remote Deposits” menu option within HNB Mobile Banking. You will receive a confirmation email once enrolled.
Starting May 8, 2023, all items deposited remotely must include the words “For Mobile Deposit” below your endorsement.
Checks missing the words "Mobile Deposit HNB" may be rejected.
Not Yet Using HNB Mobile Banking?
Download the HNB Mobile Banking app from the Apple App Store® or Google Play Store®.

Mobile Wallets
HNB Debit Card holders can enjoy another convenient way to pay with Mobile Wallets. These digital payment services allow you to make contactless point-of-sale and in-app payments easily through your compatible mobile device.
Person-to-Person Payments
Make IOU’s a thing of the past with Person-to-Person Payments. Get paid or pay someone back using HNB Online Banking or Mobile Banking. To make a payment, you just need the payee’s name and email address.
You will supply them with a keyword you choose, they’ll receive an email and then they will proceed to enter the keyword and their bank account information in the secure site to complete the transfer.
The first payment to your payee must be made through HNB Online Banking. After that, their information is saved and available for use from either HNB Online Banking or HNB Mobile Banking.

Bank-to-Bank Transfers
With Bank-to-Bank Transfers, you can easily move money between your HNB deposit accounts and your deposit accounts at other U.S. financial institutions. Through the convenience of HNB Online Banking, you can set up single transfers or recurring transfers to manage your money with ease.
eStatements
Receive your monthly account statements and bank notices electronically with eStatements. Accessible through HNB Online Banking, you can view, save and print your statements from anywhere at any time.

Effective Monday, August 14, 2023, the eStatement filtering enhancement will be enabled for HNB Digital Banking!
This enhancement allows you to select multiple accounts at one time, choose one or more document types, and select a date range to view all documents meeting their criteria on one screen vs viewing them on an account-by-account basis.
This will be especially helpful to you if you have large volumes of accounts and multiple document types enabled!

As an HNB Online Banking customer, you have the ability to download account information into QuickBooks® or Quicken® to help you manage your personal or business finances.
